Our customer journey starts in our communities where we support, empower, and celebrate in order to earn the right to do business there. We are deeply engrained in our neighborhoods and work with many local partners to provide experiences and tell our stories – be it at food drives, music festivals, skate tournaments, dance contests, basketball games, or in one of our 700 state-of-the-art doors. To ensure our stories have reach, we also regularly work with global partners such as our Chief Creative Office DJ Khaled, Snoop Dogg, Rick Ross, or brands such as Sony PlayStation and Sprite.

We entered the US market in 2019 through two acquisitions and have been extremely well-received by our communities, customers, and brand partners. We completed our third acquisition at the end of 2021, and in March 2022 acquired a fourth company in the US. We are geared up to invest more in our communities, our brand, and points of sale to unlock further growth across the US.

Overview: Reporting to the Community Impact Director, this role supports the SNIPES Community Impact Programs and is responsible for assisting in the creation and execution of initiatives that support, empower, and celebrate our community.

Responsibilities:

• Assisting in developing programs that support the SNIPES Community Impact Program framework and align with the Snipes mission and vision.
• Collaborate with the brand, marketing, and digital teams to promote community programming through various channels, including building activation plans around Snipes community initiatives.
• Grow, manage, and foster existing relationships with key community constituents and organizations to further integrate SNIPES into the community.
• Lead and facilitate communication and interaction among community partners and organizations.
• Monitor, track and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of Community Impact initiatives based on activation measures, providing regular updates to team leadership.
• Partner with SNIPES teams in local markets to identify opportunities and support events.
• Stay informed about local and national issues and trends to identify opportunities for SNIPES to make a meaningful impact.
• Continually assess outcomes against goals to further enhance future programs and initiatives.
• Support the development of departmental systems, processes, resources and practices.
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.

Skills & Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant experience in marketing, Community Impact, or related field required
• Education in business, human resources, or related marketing field 
• Proficient with Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. 
• Monthly travel required including weekends, up to 30%
• Outgoing, resourceful, and able to work well in a diverse working environment 
• Attention to detail, fact checking and proofreading
• Communicate ideas effectively to peers and supervisors; give and receive feedback constructively
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Efficient project management and problem-solving skills
