Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic individual to forge new and nurture existing relationships within the community.
As the Community Engagement Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact between the company and the public. Your primary responsibility will be to develop and maintain relationships with organizations including but not limited to hospitals, physicians, home health agencies, assisted living facilities nursing homes, hospice and rehabilitation centers.
The perfect candidate for the position would need to be organized, capable of multitasking in a high-paced environment, and people oriented. They must have a strong respect for seniors in the community and able to communicate in a professional and positive manner with clients and co-workers.
Responsibilities:
-Create, organize, and execute Community Engagement projects and events with minimum supervision, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables.
- Engage with seniors in the community, providing entertaining, quality projects for those living in assisted living facilities and nursing homes on a monthly basis.
- Conduct public speaking engagements to raise awareness about our organization and its initiatives.
- Build relationships with community partners through weekly visits and creative outreach projects.
- Maintain communication through email, phone calls, and social media.
- Collect and analyze data to measure the effectiveness of engagement initiatives
- Utilize social media platforms to promote engagement activities and engage with the community
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in engagement strategies
Qualifications:
- Passion for assisting seniors in the community.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in an engagement or community outreach role
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others through creative out-reach projects.
- Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
- Knowledge of social media platforms and their use in engagement efforts
- Familiarity with market trends and best practices in engagement strategies
