ChristianaCare is hiring a part-time Community Educator for Nutrition Services - Diabetes Prevention Program in Wilmington, DE.
As a Community Educator you would recruits patients, teaches our Diabetes Prevention Program (DPP), and tracks/monitors required data for CDC and Medicare accreditations. The DPP is an accredited preventative program that helps patients delay or reverse the progression of Pre-Diabetes to Diabetes.
This position is 32 hours weekly with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in nutrition, Public Health, Social Work, or related field required.
- One year teaching/training experience required.
- Public speaking, group facilitation and excellent writing skills required.
- Health Coaching certification preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse populations required.
- Bilingual language skills are a plus.
