Now hiring for a part-time Community Driver.

Essential Job Functions Include:

• Transportation of seniors in the community and Residents of FBH via Elderbus to various appointments or to meet shopping needs.
• When necessary, refuel using gas card, before returning vehicle.
• Secure wheelchair if used in Elderbus van.
• Operate the lift as needed.
• Assist passengers on and off bus.
• Escort passengers to and from door as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned by the Transportation Coordinator.

Requirements:

· Minimum high school diploma or equivalent

· Experience with geriatric population preferred

Qualifications:

• Valid NYS Driver License.
• Must be available for occasional Weekends.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language in an understandable manner.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions (reasonable accommodation may apply.)
• Must be able to function independently, have flexibility, personal integrity and the ability to work effectively with Residents, staff, visitors, volunteers, government agencies/personnel, etc. under all conditions and circumstances.

Must be vaccinated against COVID-19.
