Community Development Director opportunity is available with the City of Hogansville.

Under the supervision of the City Manager and general guidance of the Assistant City Manager, this professional position is a highly specialized position involving an array of qualifications and certifications to include background in planning, zoning, grant writing & administration, and economic development. This position seeks out, writes, and administers grants with the approval of the Mayor & Council; assists and manages various City committees; assists in securing and maintaining multiple economic development designations and regulations to meet compliance; assists with special projects; and determines zoning compliance for new development.

This position is available immediately and will shadow the current retiring director for training and orientation with current projects for a period of approximately six months.
