Job Description

A Community Association Manager (onsite) is responsible for providing the overall supervision of an assigned Community Association. The Community Association Manager interacts and consults with internal and external customers including homeowners, vendors, members of the board of directors, committee members, vendors, subcontractors, and the branch operations team.

 

Duties may include but are not limited to:

 

• Hands-on leader, overseeing all aspects of community life, responding to homeowners and BOD inquires, providing solutions, prioritizing tasks, managing maintenance projects, responding to HOA violations, etc. 
• Manage daily office operations to include maintaining the data base, contract files, architectural review process, financial reporting, capital projects and expenditures
• Maintain vendor relationships, coordinate inspections and facility maintenance
• Collaborate, consult, and carryout the directives given by the Association’s Board of Directors, ensuring Association’s policies and procedures are met, updating on violations and actions taken
• Prepare Board packages, facilitate Board Meetings, update on community events and legal actions
• Manage delinquencies, collections, and take action if needed

 

Requirements

• 3-5 years of community management experience 
• Knowledgeable of community life; property, real estate and homeowners associations; working with an Association and Board of Directors
• Service oriented relationship builder and team player with strong communication skills (written and oral) 
• Proactive and self-directed team player who has excellent time management skills and is effective at prioritizing tasks 
• Proficient on conflict resolution techniques
• Well versed in MS Office Suite
• Career motivated
• CMCA, AMS or PCAM are preferred
