The executive office is located at the NovaCare Complex. This 108,000 square foot facility offers excellent space, amenities, and care for the players, coaches, and staff.
Lincoln Financial Field is one of the premier sports and entertainment facilities in the United States. In addition to being the home of the Philadelphia Eagles, the stadium hosts numerous other events, providing an unmatched spectator experience for over 69,000 fans. Lincoln Financial Field is maintained and managed by professionals working together to provide the highest quality sports and entertainment experience in a safe, clean, and friendly environment.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Philadelphia Eagles' Communications Seasonal Associates will support the organization's football and corporate communications efforts. Seasonal Associates will gain experience in all aspects of the Communications department, including opportunities to earn new responsibilities, as determined by the staff. These are paid post-graduate positions and are full-time for the duration of the 2024 NFL season (start date to be decided).
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
The Communications Seasonal Associates will report to the Managers of Communications.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Build relationships with local, national, and owned media members to help execute interviews.
  • Staff all home games, practices, press conferences, and player media availability sessions.
  • Contribute to various media guide projects, including player bios and other delegated sections.
  • Transcribe press conferences and distribute transcripts to media and Eagles staff members.
  • Organize media credentials for daily access at the NovaCare Complex and all games.
  • Research statistics for the weekly game release, post-game notes, and select projects.
  • Assist in the production of the department's weekly supplemental game notes document.
  • Work in conjunction with opposing communications staffs to create and edit flip cards.
  • Lead the communications efforts for the Eagles Care Community Tuesday initiative, which includes drafting media alerts and PR plans, pitching stories, securing media coverage, attending all events, facilitating interviews, tracking coverage, and sharing recaps with relevant departments.
  • Work with business operations to compile gameday entertainment details for press box notes.
  • Support media functions for concerts, soccer matches, and other events at Lincoln Financial Field.
  • Media monitoring for football, business, community, marketing, and stadium announcements.
  • General office work, administrative tasks, and other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be a recent graduate who has completed, within the previous eighteen months, a technical, associate, bachelors, or graduate degree from a qualifying educational institution.
  • Previous internship experience in communications, public relations, or sports information with a professional sports team, college athletics department, or sports environment is preferred.
  • General understanding of the NFL media landscape and football terminology is helpful.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential to the position.
  • Excellent writing ability with proofreading and transcribing experience.
  • Proficiency utilizing Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office programs.
  • Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
