SAIC is seeking a Senior Communications Analyst to support the US Navy in Crane, IN.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES:
- Maintain Purchase Requests tracker and submit request for approval
- Track item through procurement process - when item is sent for approval, approved received, purchased, and item(s) received
- Track Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) purchases
- Contact Leads regarding purchases and dates of consumption for purchased items
- Update spreadsheet of relevant Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) Government Furnished Property module data for PIEE representative
- Ensure Travel Authorization Request forms have correct contract information and are edited for clarity and all travel is tracked for approval/rejection
- Ensure trip reports are received, have correct contract information, are edited for clarity, concise, have correct contract data, and submit
- Sent Monthly Status Report reminders; track submittals; compile and perform formatting and grammatical edits as needed; submit Monthly Status Reports and Trip Reports
- Compile Monthly Report Highlights into a singular report for the COR
- Update security roster with employees who worked
- Compile and revise Monthly Accomplishments
- Prepare contract projections
- Prepare Agendas, Meeting Minutes, Conference spreadsheets and Action Item spreadsheets
- Prepare newsletter submissions; abstract articles for newsletter; format newsletter and distribute to team
- Technical writing and editing requests as needed
Qualifications
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND CLEARANCE:
- Bachelors and zero (0) years or more related experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Computer savvy.
- Strong working knowledge in Microsoft products and Data Management experience is required.
- Detail oriented.
- Interim Secret Clearance required to start with the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. SAIC will sponsor this process.
- US Citizenship required
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Publishing or Editing Software experience
