Responsibilities:
Content Creation:
- Create and implement a communication plan aligned with program goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and community partners to design compelling and culturally competent digital and printed materials.
- Update and maintain program websites.
- Develop and implement monthly newsletters, social media campaigns/public service announcements, etc.
- Create and report on indicators that measure communications performance.
Community Engagement:
- Create and develop initiatives involving the community, including stories, interviews, videography, and photography.
- Coordinate communication with the Maternal Health Task Force (MHTF) and partners.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or related field.
- One year of experience in health communications or marketing.
- Proficiency in Canva or other graphic design platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Knowledge of cultural competency and sensitivity in health communication.
- Able to complete and prioritize tasks while working remotely.
- Live in Tennessee.
Job Type: Contract
Salary: $29.00 per hour
Schedule:
