Job description

Daily Responsibilities:

Ensure you use the correct chemical product when cleaning:

Glass, windows, and furniture: Spic and Span

Mopping floors: Mr. Clean

Bathrooms: Comet and Bleach

Vacuuming Carpets: Arm& hammer/ Febreeze

*Anytime you mop a floor ensure you are putting out a “Wet Floor Sign”

  • clock in with uniform on.
  • Sign in your punch in time, sign out master key and Radio
  • (Lobby and Main Entrance)
  • Sweep the lobby floor, both marble stairs going up to the Mezzanine level and lobby door entrance area
  • Dust all the lobby furniture.
  • vacuum the carpet inside/outside of the lobby door entrance.
  • Remove garbage from the Lobby area, Front Desk, and hallways going to the banquet rooms.
  • Mop the lobby floor, both marble stairs going up to the mezzanine level and lobby entrance area with Mr. Clean.
  • Clean the public bathrooms at the lobby men and women
  • Check the air freshener container and report to Front Desk if batteries need replacement (Fresheners must not be left beeping).
  • Fill up soap
  • Clean toilets with comet and bleach.
  • Sweep and mop the floor with Mr. Clean.
  • Wipe down counter, windows, mirrors, doors, and stalls with Spic and Span.
  • Refill the toilet paper, tissue, and paper hand towels in the dispensers.
  • Take out the garbage
  • Report to Front Desk any maintenance issues with the bathrooms
  • Clean Patton’s bar
  • Dust all furniture, tables, and chairs.
  • Clean windows/ glass with Spic and Span.
  • Sweep and mop the wood floor with Mr. Clean
  • Vacuum the carpet
  • Lobby Carpets
  • Vacuum the red carpet
  • Clean the wood all around the red carpet.
  • Vacuum the carpet in front of the public bathrooms
  • Vacuum both carpets at the lobby entrance inside/outside
  • Clean the public bathrooms at the Mezzanine men and women
  • Check the air freshener container and report to Front Desk if batteries need replacement (Fresheners must not be left beeping).
  • Fill up soap
  • Clean toilets with comet and bleach.
  • Sweep and mop the floor with Mr. Clean.
  • Wipe down counter, windows, mirrors, doors, and stalls with Spic and Span.
  • Refill the toilet paper, tissue, and paper hand towels in the dispensers.
  • Take out the garbage
  • Report to Front Desk any maintenance issues with the bathrooms
  • (Mezzanine and 1stfloor main building)
  • Clean the glass doors going to the Zulu Roof Top Bar with Spic and span (Both Entrances)
  • Wipe down the railings
  • Clean the windows, furniture and tables on the Mezzanine Level.
  • Clean the 3 elevators on the Mezzanine Level
  • Vacuum the Mezzanine hallway, include the 3 guest elevators
  • Clean all the surfaces in the elevators
  • Remove the garbage from all the offices on the Mezzanine Level.
  • Vacuum and wipe down the offices, if Requested
  • Clean the public bathrooms at the Washington level men and women Check the air freshener container and report to Front Desk if batteries need replacement (Fresheners must not be left beeping).
  • Fill up soap
  • Clean toilets with comet and bleach.
  • Sweep and mop the floor with Mr. Clean.
  • Wipe down counter, windows, mirrors, doors, and stalls with Spic and Span.
  • Refill the toilet paper, tissue, and paper hand towels in the dispensers.
  • Take out the garbage
  • Report to Front Desk any maintenance issues with the bathrooms
  • Washington
  • Vacuum the carpet from the Kitchen to the Washington event Room “T”
  • Clean all doors between the Kitchen and the Washington Room, including the elevator doors.
  • **Once a week**
  • Sweep and mop all stone stairs from the dining room to the kitchen
  • Sweep and mop the stairs going from Grant to Pershing
  • Sweep and mop the stairs going from Patton’s bar down to the Main Dining Room and to the Kitchen.
  • Vacuum carpet and dust walls at the entrance from the executive 1stfloor.
  • Clean the public bathrooms at the Washington level men and women Check the air freshener container and report to Front Desk if batteries need replacement (Fresheners must not be left beeping).
  • Fill up soap
  • Clean toilets with comet and bleach.
  • Sweep and mop the floor with Mr. Clean.
  • Wipe down counter, windows, mirrors, doors, and stalls with Spic and Span.
  • Refill the toilet paper, tissue, and paper hand towels in the dispensers.
  • Take out the garbage
  • Report to Front Desk any maintenance issues with the bathrooms
  • sign out your key, radio and punch out.
