Our Commissary Kitchen (otherwise known as "the Lab") is a high-volume production kitchen that serves our Wisconsin locations. The Lab is producing all of the salad dressings, pizza sauces, and toppings for those pies and salads that we're famous for! Our success is due to our people, so we prioritize our people and communities. Between the collaborations with local nonprofits and our career opportunities and benefits, we are constantly working on living up to our goal of being the People's Pizza.
Supervisor Job Duties and Expectations
You will oversee all aspects of a shift, ensuring accurate and timely production, product quality, order fulfillment, produce ordering, and staffing. You will direct and delegate work to general staff members, while also maintaining proper staffing and cut/add labor as appropriate. It's your duty to ensure each station is upholding Ian's Standards for food safety, product quality, cleanliness, and stocking/organization. You'll need to know how to open and close the Lab and do so regularly.
As far as administrative tasks, you'll need to track the ongoing development of employee performance on shift, use store administrative/organizational tools such as Google Docs, Sheets and Gmail, and attend Team and Lab Leadership meetings.

Scheduling
We're open Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 6am-10pm and Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 6am-2pm. Each employee is required to work a minimum of two Saturday shifts and/or weekday PM shifts (2pm-10pm/12am) each month.
We are looking for Full Time (30-40 hours a week) Supervisors at this time.
If you rely on public transportation, this will affect your availability. Most bus schedules will not allow for a 6am start time, so 7am is the earliest most people are able to start that rely on the bus. Please know your potential commute before applying!

Requirements of the job...
- 1+ years experience working in production kitchens or catering required.
- Cross-trained in, or has a solid understanding of, all production kitchen positions: fresh prep (vegetables), production prep (meats, sauces), delivery, dishwashing.
- Able to train and motivate people through the BLT Training.
- English proficiency required. Spanish proficiency is a big bonus!
- ServeSafe certified (not required, but it helps!).
- Able to stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Able to bend, crouch, and lift up to 20-50 lbs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to apply.
