Commissary Delivery Driver

This position would be in our Commissary, which is located in Owings Mills Maryland. The driver’s job would be to transport and delivery product from our Owings Mills Commissary location to our various locations. Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. You would also be required to load and unload trucks and be able to lift packages and equipment weighing at least 50 pounds.

25-30 hours per week/ $16-$20 per hour

 RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Load and unload trucks at commissary in Owings Mills and at various restaurant locations ensuring accurate and timely handling of equipment and materials.
• Execute small truck maintenance tasks, such as filling gas tanks and cleaning trucks.
• MUST BE comfortable driving a box truck.
• Organize and maintain the box truck space efficiently.
• Collaborate with the commissary team and the restaurant team to understand specific product requirements.
• Manage and organize supplies and product for delivery to both restaurant and commissary.
• Coordinate transportation logistics for supplies and product.
• Work closely with the commissary team to ensure a cohesive and efficient workflow.
• Maintain accurate inventory records of commissary equipment and supplies.
• Address and report any damages or issues promptly.
• Enforce safety protocols within the commissary and during restaurant delivery.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to lift packages and equipment weighing at least 50 pounds
• Walking, standing, sitting required throughout the typical business day
• The ability to regularly & repetitively bend, carry, climb, grasp, kneel, lift, pull, push, reach, sit, stand, twist, walk
• Must have a valid driver’s license and the ability to drive a box truck
• Must have a clean driving record. 
• Enthusiastic & responsible with flexible schedule
• Ability to multi-task while maintaining strong attention to detail

Applicants will also be expected to be able to work on their feet for several hours at a time and lift potentially heavy objects when necessary. Prior experience is preferred, but not necessary.

This role primarily operates out of our Commissary located in Owings Mills, MD.
