What You'll Do

We are looking for a non-CDL Delivery Driver helper with excellent customer service and WEEKEND AVAILABILITY (Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays) skills to deliver our delicious products to our customers in a 20ft box truck. As a driver you will:

• Available for a 2:30am start time on Fridays and Saturdays
• Help load up your truck each morning, verifying you have all the products you need for that day’s deliveries.
• Assist to deliver products according to the assigned route, making sure you meet any required delivery time windows.
• Verify the delivery using your handheld
• Must be able to comfortably learn how to use the handheld to complete the deliveries
• Pickup, load, and unload damaged goods and customer returns.
• Conduct inspections of your vehicle prior to departure each day.

Merchandising

• Available on Sundays beginning at 7am until merchandising is complete (usually no more than 5 hours)
• Being able to pull the back stock at each store, pull any stale products, and replenish new products to ensure optimal sales
• Ability to learn all of the company assigned products and specific item location within each store
• Ensuring the FIFO (First in First Out) is followed for all of the products assigned
• Ability to learn the electronic handheld in a timely fashion to process deliveries

What You Have

Required Qualifications

• 21+ years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to drive safely
• Valid Class D Driver License with a clean driving record
• Ability to use navigation tools such as GPS
• Able to read, write, and speak in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
• Ability to maintain basic logs and records
• Able to remain professional and courteous at all times

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience delivering in the food-service industry
• Pallet breakdown and hand cart delivery experience

Physical Requirements

• Frequently lift, push, or move product that weighs 1-75 pounds, up to 100 pounds.
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches to stack and unstack pallets and handcart.
• Constantly bend and twist while loading and unloading product, and retrieving items from truck.
• Must be able to climb on and off the truck, and up and down stairs.
• At times, transport product down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions.
• Must have the ability to talk and hear, both in person and on the phone.
• Specific vision abilities required to perform this job include close and distance vision, depth perception, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Perks

• Weekly pay via direct deposit ($140/day 8 hour shift)
• $200/day to cover lead driver if they are out
• $120/day on Sundays for merchandising
• Independent work environment

Reminders

• 1099 position- you are responsible for paying your own federal and state taxes
• No W2s will be issued in this role
• Pay will be based on the the role held on a particular day
• Must provide current certificate of insurance
