UMB's bottom line is directly impacted by the growth of our commercial loan portfolio and revenue generating lines of business in Treasury Management and Commercial Card. The team consists of Commercial Relationship Managers, Treasury/Card Sales Officers, Account Executives, and Implementation Specialists. This team manages the commercial payments relationships throughout its life - developing meaningful connections with management of companies, government and non-profits they serve. Always mindful of the changes in the company, its industry, etc., over time that might create a change in their financial service needs.
This Treasury Management Implementation & Service Specialist role will align to a geographic banking territory and Treasury Management Sales Officer (TMO) in support of Commercial Tier 1, Commercial/Small Business Tier 3 and Commercial/Business Banking Tier 2. You will be the primary interface with clients, (via all forms of communication, phone, email, in person) TMO or Commercial Banking Officer to ensure best in class service. Facilitate and support implementation and maintenance of all Treasury Management products and services across multiple Operational teams and partners.
How you'll spend your time:
  • Prepare and coordinate required customer documentation including but not limited to, addition of incremental TM services, adding/deleting accounts and users, update of user profiles, maintenance of existing users.
  • Manage SLA's and priority requests by utilizing BPM (Business Process Management) workflow tool for processing of requests.
  • Ensure adherence to documentation and Compliance requirements by validating authorized signers against organization resolutions, signature cards and other applicable entity documents.
  • Work closely with Commercial Document Review & Commercial Relationship Specialists when discrepancies in client entity documentation is discovered.
  • Through daily interactions assist clients with product & service training, this includes navigation of all banking services within UMB Direct, testing and uploading of Positive Pay Files, File Transmissions, BAI and EDI file support.
  • Provide support for RFP's (Request for Proposals), Pricing pro formas, Client Reviews, Billing, Exception/Waived Pricing.
  • Lead and/or facilitate training and education of clients including demos Manage resolution of client needs by identifying and coordinating appropriate bank resources by partnering with internal departments to ensure client needs are met and problems are followed through to resolution.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience
  • 4 years Commercial Banking or Treasury/Cash Management experience, Customer Service & Sales or experience in related field Client Relationship Management experience
  • Working knowledge of Implementation, Servicing or Operations at a Financial Services Company
  • Working knowledge of bank platforms, systems, products
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office software(Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Compensation Range:
Minimum: $51,480.00 - Maximum: $119,200.00
