Commercial Semi Driver (Night Shift)

Tesla is looking for a Class A Semi Driver with a Hazmat Endorsement to work on one of the most progressive vehicles in the world. • Daily truck and trailer inspection.
• Vehicle cleaning including wash and minor detailing.
• Obtaining scale weights and refueling.
• Capable of performing material handling practices within the warehouse environment in between loads.
• Miscellaneous jobs as required.

• Valid driver’s license with Class A CDL and current DOT Physical Examination medical card.
• Clean driving record, insurable, and subject to review.
• TSA driver hazardous materials endorsement required and 48' - 53' tractor trailer hauling experience preferred.
• Great work ethic & team player - levelheaded, detail oriented, safety contentious, courteous, flexible, punctual, professional, and customer focused.
• Accurately maintain daily driver logbook, pre-check, and post-check of truck.
• Ability to maintain a clean driving record with a high level of safety awareness on the roadways.
• Ability to lift and move heavy boxes (up to 60 pounds) and manually pallet jack heavy material on/off trucks.
• Forklift Certification training a plus; will be required to operate on occasion.
• Knowledge of local major and minor roadways and adherence to federal motor carrier safety regulations / DOT guidelines.
• Good communication skills (written and verbal) and the ability to follow instructions.
• Able to work OT as required and work within 250-mile air radius of Tesla Gigafactory.
• Position subject to random drug and alcohol testing.
