Job Purpose:
Plan, direct and implement all pre and post-Sales Support operations for Commercial Sales for the Commercial Department at Mingledorff’s Inc
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and direct operational activities for the Commercial Sales Support department
- Ensure estimates for jobs are accurate and prepared in timely manner by Commercial Estimators
- Determine pricing levels to match market conditions and maximize gross margin levels
- Establish and develop bid day pricing strategy with Account Executive team to maximize margins
- Help manage bid logs
- Track sales and maintain accurate/current backlog for Commercial Sales.
- Develop and manage the Commercial Sales Support budget.
- Direct Commercial Sales Support staff to ensure efficient and accurate order entry and maintenance.
- Address any issues to ensure job is at appropriate Gross Margin level.
- Ensure Commercial Administrative Sale Support maintain an accurate Bid List for commercial projects.
- Maintain Sales Pro/Quote Builder data bases
- Work cooperatively with others
- Comply with all company policies and procedures
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree required, with a major in Mechanical Engineering, preferred
- 5 years experience with plan and specification bidding market
- 5 years commercial selling experience
- 5 years Management experience
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Possess a satisfactory driving record as determined by Company Driver Policies
Travel:
Up to 20% travel to branches, other operating companies, customers and site visits requiring some overnight stay, travel to industry related conferences and training requiring some extended stay
