Position Title: Commercial Sales Manager
Description Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Sales Manager to lead our sales team in the liquid waste industry. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the liquid waste sector, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue targets within the liquid waste industry.
- Lead and mentor a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure individual and team success.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners to drive business growth and maximize opportunities.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to develop proactive sales strategies and capitalize on emerging opportunities.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, operations, and finance teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives and priorities.
- Analyze sales data, metrics, and performance indicators to evaluate effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Stay informed about industry regulations, compliance requirements, and environmental standards to ensure adherence and mitigate risks.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network, promote brand awareness, and generate leads.
- Continuously assess and optimize sales processes, tools, and resources to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
- Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning within the sales organization to foster professional growth and development.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
- Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the liquid waste industry, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership or managerial role.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, driving revenue growth, and building high-performing sales teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively, negotiate persuasively, and build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent leadership abilities, including coaching, mentoring, and inspiring team members to achieve their full potential.
- Strategic thinker with analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a results-oriented mindset.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations, waste management practices, and industry trends.
- Proficiency in CRM software, sales analytics tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Willingness to travel as needed to conduct field ride alongs, meet with clients, attend meetings, and participate in industry events.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practices, integrity, and corporate social responsibility.
Must live in the region MA to NC- $150,000 + OTE
