Commercial Recycling Driver (Transportation)

Responsibilities:
- Driver is responsible for servicing assigned route(s) with the collection and hauling of waste or recycling materials to a disposal site or recycling plant. The Residential Driver is exposed to extreme weather conditions and unpleasant odors and sights. The hours and physical demands may vary by route or area.
- Safely and efficiently transport goods and materials to designated locations.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.
- Communicate with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.

Experience:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a commercial driver.
- Proficient in operating various types of commercial vehicles
- Ability to safely load, secure, and unload cargo using proper techniques.
- Familiarity with local traffic laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.

Requirements:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
- Physical stamina to sit for long periods of time and perform manual labor when necessary.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
