Commercial Real Estate Assistant

Commercial Real Estate Development Company is searching for a diligent and creative Real Estate Assistant.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

- Identify business properties and market trends for commercial developments and assist in the preparation of marketing materials and written presentations for Commercial Real Estate deals, both sales and purchases, including data, reports, research, and buyer and user prospects for finding new properties that are both for purchase and for selling company properties.
- Analyze/research local market trends for new freestanding stores, identify potential buyers of freestanding sites, their brands and likely chains as well as competitor activity to identify business leads.
- Assist in start-up of new data center and distribution center focused Real Estate portfolio, for finding, buying and selling data center and distribution center properties.
- Provide administrative support for documents and activities related to the purchase and sale of Commercial Real Estate.
- Prepare related correspondence and forms including proposals, LOIs and contracts, as well as provide administrative support for the production of proposals, LOIs, negotiations and contracts.
- Assist on government zoning, rezoning, sitework and construction projects.
- Day-to-day administrative tasks such as answering phones, data entry, scanning, filing, etc.
- Self-starter, strong ability to work independently to reach goals and in a small group environment.

Qualifications :

- Proficiency with MS Office especially Word and Excel, Paint and Adobe Acrobat programs
- Technology savvy; very strong knowledge of filing systems with the ability to learn new computer programs like GIS quickly and troubleshoot common issues
- Strong business research, editing and proofreading skills
- Excellent research, problem solving, oral and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally with a wide variety of individuals
- Discretion required in handling highly sensitive and confidential information in a respectful and confidential manner
- Self-starter and strong ability to work independently and with small group.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
