Commercial Painting Foreman

Summary:

A dynamic multi-state commercial and industrial painting subcontractor seeks a skilled foreman with experience in both exterior and interior industrial and Commercial Painting, wallcoverings, and coatings.

Duties & Qualifications:

• Extensive knowledge of most painting materials and applications methods. Understands quality control and material management.
• Must be goal oriented with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
• Ability to run crews of 5-10 people in a safe and productive manner.
• Prepares, primes, sands, seals, and paints multiple surfaces utilizing all types of painting materials such as varnish, lacquer, shellac, enamel, latex, epoxy, waterproofing, and heat resistant finishes.
• Responsible for cross-checking colors and confirming products supplied to match the job files.
• Has hands on experience with equipment repair with the ability to recognize and repair minor issues.
• Exhibits a professional demeanor and represents the company while on client job sites.
• Complete required reports accurately and in a timely manner. Reports include:

Daily field reports, timecards, field production reports and time & materialreports.

• Understands the importance of and how to complete field change orders and submittals.
• Trained and capable with multi-level scaffolding, extension ladders and spray systems.
• Maintains tools, equipment, and trucks assigned to the employee; Always maintains a clean and safe work area.
• Travel to current projects in and around the Denver area required.
• Ability to pass a drug screening and motor vehicle check required.
• OSHA 30 certified a huge plus!
