Altabank, Division of Glacier Bank, is hiring a Commercial Loan Officer IV for the Salt Lake City branch.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage a portfolio of clients with aggregate loan commitments of up to $60,000,000
- Develop and deepen relationships with businesses with annual revenues of greater than $10,000,000
- Manage commercial clients with complex financial reporting and covenant compliance requirements
- Develop multiple new commercial client relationships each year
- Ability to develop and provide recommendations to clients with complex credit and treasury needs
- Originate new loans, deposits, and fees with the objective of earning the client’s primary or lead bank relationship
- Coordinate bank resources and team members to deliver a high quality sales and customer service experience
- Ability to present complex credit approvals to the executive team and loan committees
- Participation in community organizations and professional organizations representing Altabank
- Stay current on economic conditions to effectively manage loan portfolio risk and provide value added insights for Altabank’s commercial clients
- Maintain on a timely basis all sales management database records with client activity and information as required by bank policy
- Actively manage the credit quality of your assigned Commercial Loan portfolio, including past due loans and non-performing loans.
- Ensure that lending activities and operations are conducted in accordance with established Bank policy
About You
QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least ten years similar or related experience.
- A college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:
Course work in Finance and Accounting is preferred.
Must have experience analyzing business financial statements and assessing risk
Must have knowledge of bank products, lending law and compliance requirements
Good computer skills
Communication skills
Strong managerial skills
Strong writing skills
