Description
Function: Interact with customers requiring assistance in the lending area: discuss loan products, hand out appropriate applications and disclosures, and coordinate appointment schedule for lender(s). Assist lender(s) with loan documentation, file assembly, loan closings, and other lending related functions. Understands basic functions within the Loan Vantage system.
Duties:
Assists borrowers by discussing loan products, handing out appropriate applications and disclosures, if applicable, helping them to complete loan applications and other loan related documents
Works within the LoanVantage system to create new loan requests, create and complete WAM requests, completing Annual Review and LOC requests, title requests, prospect information etc.
Assists lender with required reporting, including problem loan and delinquency reports, expiring items and insurance tracking.
Assembles and reviews loan files and other necessary loan documentation for pre-underwriting, pre-closing, and post-closing accuracy
Processes disbursements and funding post-closing
Scanning and indexing of all loan documents
Processes loan payments and lines of credit/commitment advances
Assists commercial officer with update of annual financial statement requests
Assists lenders in obtaining credit reports and research other information necessary for loan request; ordering appraisals when needed
May schedule loan closings, coordinating with loan services, title attorneys, insurance companies, etc., and may close loans in absence of lender
Schedules appointments and prepares a variety of correspondence for lenders
Maintain understanding of current lending compliance regulations, and bank's credit policy and underwriting requirements
Performs other duties as requested.
Requirements
- High school degree or equivalent.
- Extensive customer service skills along with computer experience.
- Previous banking experience a plus.
