Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in client meetings and site visits to develop scope of work, verify existing conditions, and collect data on client needs and requirements
- Serve as Job Captain of incoming projects by being main point of contact and leading overall design process; flexibility to focus on multiple projects in various stages of development
- Construction administration (submittals, RFI’s, client/general contractor conference calls, etc.)
- Analyze and guide space and design planning for implementation of interior design strategies, including space standards, furniture layouts, and incorporation of Building Code and Accessibility requirements
- Collaborate with design team in the design conceptualization and design development phases
- Organize and develop comprehensive design packages consisting of rendered floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, and curated finish palettes
- Effectively communicate and present design concepts to clients
- Review quality control of interior constructions drawings, FF&E specifications, design presentations, etc.
- Engage with third party vendors and specialty consultants to facilitate and coordinate project needs, including but not limited to furniture, A/V, and MEP/FP requirements, and procurement of interior finishes and lighting
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $42,720.33 - $51,448.14 per year
