A commercial HVAC installer is a professional responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in commercial buildings such as office complexes, retail stores, hospitals, and manufacturing facilities. Their tasks typically include:
- System Installation: Installing HVAC systems according to building specifications and design plans. This involves setting up ductwork, piping, wiring, and equipment such as furnaces, air handlers, chillers, boilers, and rooftop units.
- Equipment Calibration: Ensuring that all HVAC equipment is calibrated and functioning correctly to maintain optimal performance and energy efficiency.
- Ductwork Installation: Installing ductwork systems to distribute heated or cooled air throughout the building efficiently.
- Electrical Work: Connecting HVAC equipment to the building's electrical system and ensuring proper wiring and connections are made.
