Commercial Cleaning Floater - Kokomo

Job Summary:

As a Floater in our janitorial company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness and sanitation standards are consistently met across diverse client locations. The Floater position is dynamic and requires adaptability, as you will be assigned to different sites based on operational needs. This role demands a strong work ethic, attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and the willingness to travel within a 2 hour radius of your home location.

Responsibilities:

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Perform general cleaning tasks as outlined in each location's scope of work.
• Complete cleanings within the allotted amount of time
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed.

Adaptability:

• Work across multiple client locations based on the company's schedule, staffing and operational requirements.
• Quickly familiarize yourself with specific site protocols and cleaning specifications.

Customer Relations:

• Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with clients and their staff.
• Address any specific cleaning requests or concerns raised by clients and relay those to your direct supervisor.
• Time Management:
• Efficiently manage time to complete tasks within specified timeframes.
• Prioritize and organize tasks based on urgency and importance.

Qualifications:

• Previous janitorial or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and follow cleaning protocols.
• Excellent time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to adapt to different work environments.
• Willingness to travel up to a 2hr radius from your home location.
• Access to a smartphone to use for work purposes.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
