Your day-to-day:
- Write and update evergreen roundups that recommend top-notch products
- Use data and analytics to brainstorm and guide content decisions
- Collaborate closely with evergreen writers, editors, and our Entertainment News/Deals team
- Pitch and write relevant shopping stories for tentpole events, as needed
- Find and interview expert sources to provide background information and quotes for our roundups and reviews
- Use SEO tools, knowledge of the brand, competitor research, and market research to identify content improvements or adjustments
- Stay current on trends and new products to ensure we’re making the best recommendations for our readers
- Assist in our testing process, whether evaluating products at home, writing up results, attending lab testing days, or gathering insights from testers or community members
You are:
- Passionate about online shopping and finding the best products available
- Extremely organized and able to juggle multiple priorities effectively
- Detail-oriented and deadline-focused with solid writing skills, as well as a basic understanding of SEO practices
- Strong writer, capable of creating engaging, lively headlines and blurbs, all the while keeping the brand voice, values, and style in mind
- Experienced and familiar with affiliate tracking systems and content building in a CMS
- Self-starter who can pivot seamlessly as new initiatives and directives are identified
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required
