Combination (Pipe and or Structural) Welder

Ridgeline Oilfield is an oilfield service company that operates out of Kenai, AK. We are currently looking to add a Combination welder (Pipe and Structural) to our team. A pipe welder joins and repairs pipes and builds piping assemblies to specified standards. A structural welder welds and fabricates metal components for structures. This position you will work indoors and outdoors, depending on where the job location is, sometimes in cramped spaces and in adverse weather conditions.

Requirements: 

• Have to be able to keep an attention span for a minimum of 8-12 hours a day.
• Preform repetitive motions and tasks.
• Able to work a rotating schedule; including but not limited to, nights, weekends and holidays.
• Able to l work with other crew members in close quarters.
• Able to receive and give verbal and written instructions.
• Must be able to read blueprints and drawings.
• Must be able to use welding equipment properly.
• Select materials to be cut or joined, follow engineering directions and instructions form drawings.
• Ensure proper use, maintenance and storage of all welding equipment.
• Heavy Equipment Operator (preferred)
• Rigging certification (preferred)
• Must be able to cut, shaping and joining sections of alloys, metals or other material using specialist welding methods and according to specific drawing designs and specifications.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Must be able to obtain welding certifications.
