Form of workWilson & Company is a multi-disciplinary engineering firm with offices across 11 states and diverse projects that range from highway and infrastructure to mapping and rail. Our Omaha, NE transportation engineering team is offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands on experience and work with successful engineers while developing useful engineering skills and abilities. Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in drafting production (AutoCAD and MicroStation).
- Assisting project managers with daily duties.
- Assisting engineering staff with technical tasks including quantity take-offs, report review, engineering calculations and other tasks as assigned.
Required Skills
We are seeking an undergraduate structural engineering student from an accredited college or university. Candidates must be familiar with drafting and modeling and be able to assist in work using MicroStation and/or AutoCAD software. A good academic record and some hands-on experience is a plus. We are looking for an eager learner who works well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Required Experience
- Civil Engineering student.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, primarily Outlook, Word and Excel required.
- Ability to commute to/from school to the office, and work in an office environment. No remote work anticipated.
- Capacity to manage and maintain a sustainable balance between school, internship, and personal demands.
Hourly Rate: $19.00 - $21.00
