Coffee Shop Specialist

The Coffee Shop Specialist excels at barista tasks and leads by example. The Specialist is the right hand to their General Manager, assisting with training, troubleshooting and inventory orders.

Essential Job Functions:

• Provide superior service by building professional, friendly rapport with customers
• Educate patrons on menu offerings
• Regularly communicate with co-workers and management to solve problems and improve the quality of our products and services.
• Complete all assigned checklists, inventories, orders, reconciliations, side work and cleaning duties
• Follow all food safety protocol; consistently clean and re-stock all work areas
• Conduct all levels of barista training
• Be “on call” for multiple cafe locations; execute all on call responsibilities completely and reliably

Position Requirements:

• Required to use hands and fingers to handle, feel and operate equipment
• Required to stand and walk for long periods of time; shifts are 4-8 hours in length
• Required to lift/move up to 50 pounds
• Required to frequently talk and hear
• Reliable Transportation
