Job Description
As part of SATG/SPE/DEP group, the Code Samples Engineering (CSE) team works with developer community to deliver Code Samples that help establish oneAPI and AI Tools as a cross-industry open programming model which targets all industry and Intel XPU architectures: CPUs, GPUs, FPGAs, and ASICs. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer to help us build a world-class oneAPI and AI Code Samples repository that will serve as a primary reference for developing high-performance, data-centric AI applications across diverse architectures.
In this role responsibilities include, although not limited to:
Develop Code Samples that demonstrate usage of novel and evolving features in oneAPI and AI Tools.
Enable internal engineering teams as well as external developer ecosystem to publish Code Samples.
Promote best practices in software development and testing.
Collaborate with DevOps team for timely resolution of the issues with Code Samples.
Interact with DX team to provide best experience for the developers in using Code Samples.
Promote Code Samples by authoring technical articles in collaboration with marketing.
Be a technical point of contact for marketing and content strategy teams in promoting Code Samples.

Qualifications
You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. Experience listed below would be obtained through a combination of your schoolwork/classes/research and/or relevant previous job and/or internship experiences. This is an entry level position and will be compensated accordingly.
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, information systems, computer engineering, computer science, or related field and 1+ year of experience -OR- a master’s degree in Software Engineering, information systems, computer engineering, computer science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in common AI frameworks such as PyTorch, TF, ScikitLearn.
Experience with software development lifecycle.
Strong programming skills in C++/Python/Linux.
Experience with JIRA, GitHub.
Experience in parallel programming, graphics programming, GPU architectures, CUDA and OpenCL.
Familiarity with the DevOps, CI/CD and Jenkins.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, California: $109,744.00-$164,610.00
- Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience
Working Model
This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
