Responsibilities:
- Develop and write CNC programs for various machines based on engineering specifications and drawings.
- Set up and operate CNC machines to fabricate parts according to programmed instructions.
- Collaborate with engineers and designers to interpret schematics and blueprints.
- Perform precision machining using a variety of tools and equipment.
- Conduct quality control inspections using precision measuring instruments such as bore gauges.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC programs or machine performance.
- Maintain documentation of programming, setup, and production processes.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM programming software.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining principles and techniques.
- Experience in programming and operating CNC machines.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and schematics.
- Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and their use in quality control.
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and measurements.
