Job Description
General Job Summary:
Develops and maintains software programs and libraries for the CNC Fabrication equipment (turret punches, lasers, combination turret/laser machines, press brakes, etc.) and related automation. Supports additional activities related to the CNC fabrication area as required.

- Responsible for the evaluation and closure of technical NCMR's (Non-Conforming Material Reports)
- Provides technical support for the team across all shifts (manufacturing operators, maintenance associates, engineers, and supervisors)
- Identify and support 'lights out' operations through related programming activities.
- Serve as a backup when needed for the development of MPCD's (Manufacturing Process Control Document) for fabricated products.
- Evaluates and closes action item requests generated from pre-production review activities (NORP / Proview)
Computer Skills:
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word / Excel / Outlook, Internet Explorer, Auto-CAD, strong 3D modeling (SolidWorks).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CNC programming. Working knowledge of Amada and Trumpf CNC programming software is preferred (Amada SheetWorks, Dr. Abe Blank, Dr. Abe Bend, Trumpf TruTops).
Education
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
- 3-5 years related experience or training
- Associates degree (A.A.) preferred (Manufacturing Technology or related) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
