Job Description
Small Plastic fabrication & forming company seeks an enthusiastic CNC operator /programmer who takes pride in making ideas and drawings come to life as a working part, component or finished good. Familiarity with CNC machining, SolidWorks, Feature CAM or equivalent through post HS education or job experience is expected. We are accepting applications for candidates interested in Part time and Full time positions.
TASKS & DUTIES:
Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches and, create 3D solid models and other fabrication drawings for machining and fabrication as needed,
Set up & program manual and CNC machines. (Haas & C.R. Onsrud)
Perform basic and advanced machining operations and execute safe use of hand tools, power machinery & computerized machining equipment
Make decisions to ensure that work quality is achieved and maintained.
Be able to properly use sophisticated precision measurement instruments and computer systems.
Core competencies should include attention to detail, reliability, self motivation and a desire to solve problems, ability to get right to work with little to no oversite once the tasks are established. A willingness to learn new skills, techniques and processes in order to achieve personal, professional and company goals.
