JOB SUMMARY
The CNC Operator II is responsible for operating CNC Horizontals and Verticals per complex blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, job orders, tooling instructions, and standard charts
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS
- At least 1 years of experience in operating, loading, and unloading parts on CNC machines
- At least 1 years of experience running CNC Horizontal and/or Vertical machines, and basic CNC machining
- At least 1 years of using Calipers and other measurement tools
- Demonstrated ability to read drawings and understand tolerances
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge of manual machines is preferred
- Operating, loading, and unloading parts on CNC machines
- Complete tool changes and make tool offsets
- Inspect and measure finished products and compare them with the required documents to determine if the process has been completed properly
- Make required adjustments to machinery to compensate for tool wear
- Troubleshoot and resolve various types of operating difficulties
- Learning to do set-ups for new jobs with assistance
- Weekend shift
- Friday - Sunday, 5:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
- OT if needed
