We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Operator to join our team with Onin Staffing of Oxford. As a CNC Operator, you will be responsible for operating computer numerical control (CNC) machines to produce high-quality parts and components. Your precision and attention to detail will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This is a 2nd shift position, but training is completed on 1st shift

Roles and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, milling, turning, and cutting
- Review and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
- Load and unload raw materials and parts into the machine
- Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and identify any issues or malfunctions
- Adjust machine settings and tool offsets as necessary to ensure accurate and precise machining
- Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications
- Perform routine machine maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating
- Troubleshoot and resolve basic machine malfunctions or errors
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to optimize production processes
- Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area
Work Experience
Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a CNC Operator or similar role of at least 1 year
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
- Strong knowledge of CNC programming and operating procedures
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools and equipment
- Ability to perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Good communication and teamwork abilities
