Cnc Operator – 1St & 2Nd Shift

Freeway Corporation is seeking CNC Operators to join our team on 1st and 2nd Shift. This position is responsible for the CNC machining of tooling used in production of Freeway product, tooling, dies, replacement parts for machinery, and the development of sample parts.

Qualifications and Responsibilities:

• 3-5 years prior experience setting up and operating CNC Machines.
• Reading and interpreting drawings and blueprints.
• Making tool offsets to programs using CAM software and G & M codes.
• Setting up the machine, setting up tooling, running the machine, and verifying that the work complies with specifications and drawings.
• Choosing the correct tooling indicated on program.
• Must keep inventory on tooling and prioritize work to meet schedule and due dates.
• Maintain a clean work-area and follow all safety procedures.
• Must keep up with all service needs to machine, including maintaining all lubes and coolant needs.
• Must be able to work 1st or 2nd Shift schedules listed below.

Shift Times:

• 1st Shift: Monday-Friday; 6:45am-3:15pm.
• 2nd Shift: Monday-Friday; 4:15pm-12:45am.
