Job Summary:
Applies basic knowledge of mechanics, shop mathematics, engineering drawings, material properties, layout, and machining procedures to set-up, program and operate CNC Okuma Machines accurately, safely, and efficiently.
Duties:
- Set up, Program and operate Okuma Machines
- Set up and operate other CNC Machines when needed
- Inspect and verify conformance to specifications
Requirements:
- 2 -3 year experience in operating, setting up and programming Okuma Machines
- Experience setting up fixtures, tooling, vices, and clamps
- Operate machines running complex and tight tolerance components
- Be able to stand for 8 hours a day
- Follow all safety and work rules and practices
- Strong work ethic and highly motivated
- Meticulous attention to detail and well organized
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Independent and willing to take initiative
- Able to work in a fast-paced constantly-changing environment with tight deadlines and occasional long hours
