We are currently seeking a WaterJet Operator at our Irvine, CA locations. This position is responsible for setup and operation of our waterjet equipment for production runs. This requires monitoring machinery for any problems during the cutting process. Measuring, recording, and ensures that they meet specifications and verify their quality.

We are currently seeking a WaterJet Operator at our Irvine, CA locations. This position is responsible for setup and operation of our waterjet equipment for production runs. This requires monitoring machinery for any problems during the cutting process. Measuring, recording, and ensures that they meet specifications and verify their quality.
Position responsibilities include:(other duties may be assigned)
- Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner
- Reads and interprets blueprints and instructions
- Properly and safely loads and unloads forgings and raw materials onto the waterjet
- Uses gages and measuring instruments to ensure parts meet tolerance requirements
- Adjust machine to ensure part conformance
- Ability to setup and operate waterjet without assistance.
- Recognizes, deploys, and properly uses fixtures and tooling
- Responsible for maintaining lot traceability and accountability
- Ability to maintain correct and accurate records of manufacturing
- Maintain the machine and environment in a safe and clean condition
- Perform daily maintenance checks, inspections, and adjustments to ensure machine is in reliable working condition.
Requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Interest in Manufacturing
- Mechanically Inclined
Preferred Qualifications:
- Manufacturing experience
- Blueprint experience
- Proper use of measuring tools
- Forklift experience
