Cnc Machinist/Programmer

CNC Machinist

Edge Core Tech, LLC is looking for a CNC Machinist to join our team in Reno, NV. This position will be responsible for the operation of a CNC lathe and milling machine.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other machining equipment to perform specific tasks.
• Maintain a clean work area and follow all safety procedures.
• Perform quality inspections of products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform quality inspections of products to ensure they meet specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on machine tools and machinery.
• Work with other departments to ensure that the work being performed is safe and meets company standards.

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required, some experience in a manufacturing environment preferred but not required. College degree preferred but not required. We are willing to train the right person with a strong interest in manufacturing, machining, or engineering education or experience. A degree in any field is acceptable for this position if interested in pursuing an advanced degree in a related field such as woodworking, textiles, metal fabrication, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
