Job Description
- Performing advanced setup operations (could be multiple a day)
- Checks out programming and makes edits as needed
- Operates CNC Machines to perform very complex series of machining operations on a very diverse line of work
- Check parts to ensure they meet client specifications (MUST HAVE YOUR OWN MEASURING DEVICES)
- Ability to run more than one machine at a time
- Will be working on Nigata & Mazak machines
- Machining a variety of different materials
- High School Diploma or GED
- An associates degree in Machine Tool is highly preferred
- Specific evidence of supervisory training
- 2-5 years of experience in a related position
- Job Shop or Prototype experience
- Experience in machining for a diverse industry base: Aviation, Mining, Defense, Rail, Shipbuilding, Heavy Equipment, Gas & Oil, and Machine Building
- Proficiency reading and working from blueprints, sketches, and written specifications
- Proficiency of GD&T
