Job Description:

CNC Machinist with experience setting up and running 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and Y-axis CNC Mill-turns.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run CNC programs for production parts to specification on HAAS VF4SS Mill with 5-axis trunnion, HAAS VF2, and various manual mills and lathes.
• Run CNC programs for production runs on HAAS ST20Y Mill-turn with live tooling creating parts to specification.
• Complete in progress quality inspections as well as complete and document quality assessment on final parts according to specifications
• Produce first article fabrication to ensure specification compliance for resulting parts.
• Identify issues and report to CNC Programmer prior to and during the manufacturing process as needed.
• Make feed and speed adjustments at the machine control to ensure properly cut parts that meet specification.

Position requirements.

• Completion of a technical or associate degree program or equivalent certification course preferred.
• 5 years’ experience running HAAS 3, 4, and 5-axis CNC mills and mill-turns.
• Familiarity with Mastercam and SolidWorks toolchain.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to use industry standard measuring devices.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe workspace.
• Ability to work well with others.

Pay depends on experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
