Job Description
- 2nd Shift: 2pm to 10:30pm
- 3rd Shift: 10pm to 6:30am
- Examine and load machine; familiarize with tooling setup.
- Start machine, observe operation, and verify conformance to specifications.
- Adjust controls and change tools as needed to maintain tolerances.
- Monitor lubricants and coolants to meet specifications.
- Collaborate with supervisors to resolve malfunctions and obtain approvals.
- Conduct routine maintenance and empty machine chip carts.
- Analyze, diagnose, and correct machine and tooling problems.
- Uphold the highest safety standards and employ 5S practices.
- Mentor and motivate team members to drive safety, quality, and productivity improvements.
- High school diploma required; Trade school or machine vocational training a plus.
- Previous machine operation experience.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to complete assignments successfully.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Computer Skills: Knowledge of machine control interface on CNC, proficiency in AutoDesk 2D & 3D Software, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and ERP system.
- Physical Demands: Regular standing, handling, reaching; must frequently lift/move up to 50 pounds; specific vision abilities required.
