Position: CNC Machine Operator
Location: Baltimore, MD 21211
Shift: 2nd shift (2:00pm - 10:30pm; Monday - Friday)
Job Overview for the Milling Operator position:
As a CNCOperator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This is a hands-on role that requires mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate milling machines to perform precision machining operations.
- Read and interpret drawings.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance on machines, such as cleaning and lubricating.
- Inspect finished parts using calipers and other measuring instruments to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and optimize production processes.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Mill Operator or similar role
- Proficient in operating CNC milling machines
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Ability to use/operate drilling machines a plus
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Must be able to pass a background check
