CNC Machine Operator 1st/2nd Shift

The CNC Operator at Test Products will be responsible for operating computer numerical control machines to fabricate parts. MUST be able to do setups, fixtured and non-fixtured. Be knowledgeable of tools, tooling, and speeds & feeds. Also, detects malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools. CNC operators maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment.

This is a full-time position. Standard days and hours of work are Monday through Saturday. However, the CNC Operator is expected to dedicate the time required to meet the company’s strategic plan.

$22 per hour

• MUST be able to do setups, fixtured and non-fixtured
• Be knowledgeable of tools, tooling, and speeds & feeds
• Also, detect malfunctions in machine operations, such as worn or damaged cutting tools
• CNC operators maintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment
• Performs all assigned machine shop operations
• Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions to management or designee
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition and follows prescribed safety procedures
• Regularly perform milling, turning, drilling, and tapping tasks
• Performs inspection of machined products and document results
• Other duties may be assigned

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma or graduation from a certified technical school preferred
• 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE as a CNC operator
• Understanding of production procedures
• Communication proficiency
• Mathematical skills
• Mechanical and technical capacity
• Time Management skills
