Cnc Lathe Programmer Operator

**Yates Industries is currently looking to fill 3 spots for a full-time/first shift CNC Lathe Programmer Operator in our Austell plant!**

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Produce quality machined parts by programming, setting up and operating thru part completion.
• Write, store and retrieve programs for machining parts.
• Prioritize work orders for timely completion to accommodate customer needs.
• Maintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations.
• Maintain equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements, troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills:

• Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience operating CNC machine. Mill experience a plus.
• Running, Set up, programming vertical & horizontals
• G code knowledge
• Skilled in programming and operating CNC Mazak Lathes.
• Mazak controls.
• Nexus.
• Write programs in mazatrol controller and store programs.
• PC fusion 640m.
• Able to read blueprints.
• Strong math skills.
• Analyze job orders, drawings, blueprints and/or specifications in order to calculate dimensions, tool selection, machine speeds, and feed rates.
• Can use inspection equipment such as micrometers, depth mic’s, O.D. mic’s, thread gauges and calipers.
