Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe with live milling machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Make adjustments to machine settings as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Requirements:
- Previous experience operating CNC lathe machines, preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining principles
- Ability to use hand tools and measuring instruments accurately
- Familiarity with programming software for CNC machines (e.g., Camworks, Featurecam, Mastercam)
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
