Cnc Lathe Operator

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. As a CNC Lathe Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining CNC lathe machines to produce high-quality parts according to specifications. This is a full-time position in our warehouse facility.

Duties:
- Set up and operate CNC lathe machines to perform various machining operations
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine specifications
- Select and install appropriate cutting tools, tool holders, and fixtures
- Load raw materials into the machine and monitor the machining process
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring instruments to ensure accuracy and quality
- Make necessary adjustments to machine settings and tooling as needed
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating CNC lathe machines is required
- Proficient in reading blueprints and engineering drawings
- Strong knowledge of machining principles, tooling, and cutting parameters
- Familiarity with hand tools, lathe operations, and CNC programming
- Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and maintenance on machines
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet production deadlines

Skills:
- Welding experience is a plus
- Ability to assemble and package finished parts
- Proficiency in using hand tools for various tasks
- Knowledge of other machinery such as stamping press or milling machine is beneficial
