Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision parts according to blueprints and specifications
- Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and job orders to determine dimensions and tolerances
- Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy of machined parts
- Input machine instructions into computerized control (CNC) machines
- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
- Monitor machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain quality and productivity
- Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality standards
- Maintain accurate records of production and machine maintenance
Experience
- High School Diploma
- Proficient in blueprint reading and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
- Strong knowledge of machining processes, including milling, turning, drilling, and grinding
- Familiarity with hand tools and measuring equipment
- Knowledge of Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) operation is a plus
- Mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledgeable in basic computer skills needed to maintain correct data and records keeping
- Team player
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stretch, stand for extended periods of time
- US Citizen or valid work permit

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
