Nursing Assistant

Duties:
- Assist nurses and other healthcare professionals in providing direct patient care
- Perform basic nursing procedures under the supervision of a registered nurse
- Help patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse rate
- Assist with medical procedures, including venipuncture and medication administration
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients

-Prepare and serve meals
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients

Skills:
- Ability to lift and move patients safely
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in taking vital signs accurately
- Familiarity with medical office or nursing home settings
- Experience in assisting with physical examinations
- Competent in performing venipuncture under supervision
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Pay: $140.00 - $180.00 per day

Expected hours: 40 per week
