CMM Programmer

The CMM Programmer will provide programming support for Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM's) in support of Medical component manufacturing.

Roles And Responsibilities

• Generate and maintain CMM programs utilizing CALYPSO, PC-DMIS, and MODUS software.
• Verify new CMM programs prior to release on the shop floor.
• Manipulate Models as needed to support CMM programming needs.
• Provide CMM related support to M.E. (Manufacturing Engineer) and provide operator training during new processes or process improvements.
• Provide daily operator support in the form of CMM programming and troubleshooting support to the shop floor.
• Support and implement tooling & fixturing requirements associated with CMM inspection processes.
• Generate and support workstation instructions (methods) for CMM related issues.
• Initiate and lead process improvement projects to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost related to CMM processes.
• Provide guidance in the implementation and expansion of CMM technology.
• Provide effective communication to appropriate team members when needed.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment while embracing and driving positive change inside and outside the organization when appropriate.
